How is Cash Management Impact Analysis calculated?

The Cash Management Impact Analysis report separates the changes in operating results and trading cycle accounts that are attributable to growth in net sales from those which are due to managerial policy.

The historical data are used in the Impact of Growth on Cash Section to estimate what the impact on cash would have been had the account grown proportionately with net sales.  The difference between this estimate and the actual historical value is attributed to management in the Management Impact on Cash section which follows.
